PRE-DEPLOYMENT TRAINING: VGS designs and executes challenging, ultra-realistic combat training for up to 1,000 man units combining role players, realistic battlefield special effects, pyrotechnics, combat trauma (moulage), threat weapons, indigenous cultural training, scenario-driven intelligence support, and tactical Subject Matter Experts. With over 1,600 role players from six unique ethnicities, VGS simulates a realistic battle space environment. Role Players are also outfitted with weapons and uniforms and embedded into USMC units as national security forces, interpreters, and cultural advisors producing unmatched training benefits for our warriors. Providing Subject Matter Experts in multiple disciplines, VGS prepares and mentors deploying Training Teams as it trains the trainer for in-country tactical support missions. VGS conducts Mirror Image Terrorist Training Camp exercises closely approximating the mindset, environment and scenarios the terrorist/insurgent operates, recruits, indoctrinates and trains its forces.
INFANTRY WEAPONS MARKSMANSHIP TRAINING: Introductory through USMC Table 4 combat marksmanship/sniper, designated marksman, guardian angel, and foreign weapons familiarization.VGS employs the latest technologies to achieve the highest level of ultra-realistic training through its improved Special Effects.
SPECIAL OPERATIONS TRAINING: Reconnaissance & Surveillance, sniper proficiency, close quarter battle (CQB), urban & dynamic assault, tactical communications, weapons qualifications and [ship] visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS).
MARITIME ANTI-PIRACY SECURITY SERVICES: Six Step Dangerous Transit Security Plan includes vessel security planning, crew individual protective measures, immediate action drills, exercises, tactics and escalation of force procedures. Using real world tactics and actual scenarios, VGS trains maritime crews to evade, escape and defeat pirates.
Moulage. This ultra-realistic special effects tool has many variations for which VGS is an expert in simulating various degrees and assortment of casualties. The customer gains valuable experience in working through combat injuries as not to become battlefield ineffective due to the shock of the injury to fellow comrades. This graphic depiction of combat trauma proved to be essential training to servicemen heading into the crucible of combat operations.
Pyrotechnics. Simulation of a battlefield requires realism during training. VGS employs certified Card-1 pyrotechnicians to ensure that the simulation battlefield is realistic yet safe. VGS understands that in order to properly train for battlefield conditions, every detail and precaution must be met to minimize the risk of injury.
Weapons and expolosives identification. Familiarization with weapons and explosives on the battlefield is a fundamental element of training. VGS utilizes combat veteran Subject Matter Experts, or SME's, to train our customers in how to identify, use, disarm and any other pertinent information such as an explosive's blast radius.
Combat First Aid/Triage. Living or dying on the battlefield may be dependent upon the combat trauma training received in peacetime. VGS prepares warriors for the actual experience of saving lives in combat situations by thrusting them into a special effects, mock war zone and confronting them with sudden injuries to treat. First aid tactics could mean the difference between a warrior living or dying. This training includes hemorrhage control, tourniquet applicaton, immediate care for spinal and head injuries, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, first aid for bleeding, shock, fractures, nerve agent injuries, and transportation of casualties. Speed and stress of training is intense..
Supported more than 65 battalion-level training exercises with authentic Iraqi, Afghani, Pakistani, Southeast Asia, African and Korean scenarios for combat, combat support, combat service support, advisor, special operations and amphibious unit operations training support. VGS achieves measured and quantifiable increases in unit combat readiness through advanced pre-deployment training and subsequent combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. VGS has access to alternate private combat training venues and ranges if government facilities are not available. VGS is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business on the U.S. Army PEO-STRI Warfighter Focus IDIQ contract which permits an expeditious, fully compliant contract vehicle to meet emergent requirements.
